Food and Warm Clothing Support for Poor Slums in Chitwan
Kathmandu. In a joint initiative by the Canada Nepal Journalists Association and the Nepal YouTube Journalists Association, food assistance was provided to Kalika Municipality-9, Azingare, a hillside village in Chitwan. Due to the area’s challenging terrain and economic hardships, 167 families in the village received food aid.
Additionally, 119 families from Ichchakamana-7, Gardas, another underprivileged and hilly settlement in Chitwan, were given blankets to help them stay warm during the winter months.
