CNJA Events and Notice

Toronto. Journalists and social personalities in Canada and Nepal who have contributed significantly to the Nepali community will be honored by the International Media Award 2025.

14 journalists who have contributed to the Nepali community through journalism in Canada and Nepal and 22 individuals, including 8 who have contributed professionally, socially, or financially, will be honored by the Canada-Nepal International Media Award-2025.

Under the 3-day program of Media Awards, the first day will be the Nepali Journalists (Canada-Nepal) Interaction And Fellowship Program on May 17, 2025.
The Nepali News Festival Program will be held on the second day of May 18, 2025.
The Awards Distribution Ceremony will be held on the third day of May 19, 2025. Nepal’s Ambassador to Canada

(Chief Guest) Mr. Bharat Raj Poudel, Member of The Federal Parliament of Canada Mrs. Sonia Sidhu, Mayor Patrick Brown of Brampton Municipality, representative of the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ), and other guests will be present.

Program schedule::

• 17 May, 2025, Saturday, 10 AM- 4 PM  Nepali Journalists (Canada-Nepal) interaction & fellowship programme.
• 18 May, 2025, Sunday. 10 AM- 4 PM Nepali News Festival Programme.
• 19 May, 2025, Monday. 6 PM- 9 PM  Awards distribution ceremony.
